In 2022, Yasiin Bey and Talib Kweli resurrected their duo, Black Star, for their first album in 24 years, No Fear of Time. Now, the duo has announced the album is being released for the first time on vinyl and CD starting November 22nd via Rhymesayers.
Released in May 2022 exclusively on the podcast platform Luminary (and later made available via Bandcamp), No Fear of Time is a nine-song album featuring production from Madlib and guest appearances by Black Thought and Yummy Bingham. It was made “guerrilla-style,” recorded in secret over a four-year period with hotels and dressing rooms at Dave Chappelle shows serving as the studio space. For more checkout the link below.
